Prti IlfordD : I doubt it would have been a Gramps, that's just the phrase they use. There are plenty of stories of the troubles many young Russian conscripts have - chances are he's been made to do this so whoever is in control could maybe sell the video (when it was filmed ages ago) at the time for money. There are other stories of young men being sent into towns to offer themselves, they're expected to earn money and then give it to the higher ups. Its ironic Russians portray themselves as being so against homosexuality, and yet this sort of behavior is still rife in the Russian Army today.

Prti IlfordD : I doubt it. I suspect there is a sad story behind this. There is a practice in the Russian Army known as Dedovshchina 'Reign of the Grandfathers' its called - go and google it, and you'll read some horrors!
